Self-publishing a book takes a lot of time and effort. Kitts Enterprises can help you complete the steps of the self-publishing process.
Editing Services
- We offer a flat fee for combined developmental editing and copy editing services. Developmental editing will provide feedback on the story elements, plot, characters, and structure. Copy editing focuses on grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- A 1,000 word children’s book manuscript will receive 3 rounds of editing services. The first round will focus exclusively on developmental editing feedback. The second will include both developmental and copy editing. The last round will focus exclusively on copy editing. Three rounds of editing services costs a flat $450.
- Sara is our in-house Editor. She has 10+ years as an K-12 educator. She earned her Bachelors degree in Education and History from SUNY Cortland. There she was awarded an All-College Writing Award in 2007. She graduated in 2009 from Binghamton University with a Masters degree in History. She has worked for the last six years as a Librarian and Computer teacher at a local elementary school. This has given her a special insight to what elements make a children’s book a “Read it again!” book.

You will receive a zip file of shareable content to post on your social media sites. This content will focus on your book, intended audience, and reader reviews. We will work together to make sure your content file fits your style and goals. You may post this content as often as you wish and on a variety of social media sites.
- 5 Videos in which you can choose from several video lengths to optimize your posts.
- 10 Jpeg/png posts for social media.
- Press Release for schools and libraries that includes author visit information, book information, and the book’s relation to state learning standards.
- A list of suggested social media hashtags to help your target audience find you and your book.
